WHAT IS SHAZAM?

Shazam is not a streaming platform but an App to discover songs. Radio stations around the world and especially radio stations in the US look at the Shazam rankings to see how popular the songs are.

The more Shazams a song has, the more likely they are to play on the radio (which is 30-40% of what makes a song on the Billboard Hot100).

In addition, if a song is well known in the United States, it is inevitable that it will reach other countries because the United States is a mirror of trends throughout the world.

Additionally, some music charts are also set on Shazam's rankings.

What else do I have to know about Shazam?

Shazam is a component of Songkick, which has a tool called Tourbox, which artists' tour managers use to determine where to gig. TWICE is verified on both Shazam and Songkick.

Tutorial to use Shazam

1. Download Shazam on your mobile.

Android:

iOs: 

2. Play the TWICE song you want to make Shazam out of (it can be on the same device or on another device).

3. Go back to the Shazam app and click the Shazam button.

Your Shazams will appear in the "My Shazam" section.

After each time you do Shazam you must clean the App data to do it again with the same song or else only 1 Shazam will be counted every 24 hours.

Clean data on Android:

• Go to your phone settings.
• Go to applications.
• Select Shazam.
• Go to Storage.
• Clear data (not the same as clearing cache).

Clear cache on iPhone:

• Log in with Facebook or Email.
• Log out to "remove" Shazam.
• Do Shazam without logging in.
• The Shazam will be counted again after login.
• If it doesn't let you log out, uninstall Shazam and reinstall it.
